Good morning, Papa God!
I have been steadily running the race set before me for years now, valiantly and nobly bearing Your light and carry Your baton of good news – Jesus saves! I have faithfully passed that baton of truth to others to carry it forward. I have run my race through the darkest of nights, the lowest valleys, the tough mountain climbs, and the storm’s tempest. The baton has been passed to those who are now midway through their run and to those who are just beginning to run. I know I am destined to finish the run which You have begun in me whether it is a few years or many years. I will complete my run, Papa God. By Your grace, You will carry me home. My final run will be into Your arms. During this run, I have faced giving up many times, when the road I was on just became too hard and too long. But, You gave me the strength each day to hang on, to be strong, and to be determined to finish my race, carrying the torch of Jesus high and lifted up. Don’t ever let me drop the torch! How true are these words from the song “Reckless Love”: “There’s no shadow You won’t light up, mountain You won’t climb up, coming after me. There’s no wall You won’t kick down, lie You won’t tear down, coming after me.” And so, Papa God, whether I have many more years or few, I will always lift my praises to You.
Good morning, My child!
I see you! I hear you! I know you! And, above all that, I have a hold of you! I am right here with you every second of every day. Live your life with boldness, confidently taking each step with courageous obedience to My will. No matter what life brings your way, in My power and strength you can handle anything. Run with endurance, My child. Keep going, keep bearing the torch of Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of your faith, until your race is over and you run into My arms. By My grace, I will lead you home. So, faithfully run your race that is set before you. I am right here with you, always have been and always will be! You have My Word on it!
