Newness!

Good morning, Papa God!

I humble myself before You, and I worship You for Who You are and what You have done for me. Through Christ’s atoning blood on the cross, You have set me free from sin’s debt. You have opened my eyes to see You and all the love You have for me. How precious are Your thoughts towards me, O God! How great is the sum of them! How unsearchable are all Your riches, Your wisdom and knowledge, and Your ways! They are above all my mind can even imagine or think! For who has known the mind of my Lord? Or who can be Your counselor? Not me, Papa God! Your ways and Your thoughts are so much higher and greater than anything that I could ever think! And so here I am, humbly bowing before You, acknowledging Your power, Your greatness, Your Sovereignty. You reign forever on Your throne. Here I am, Papa God, surrendered to Your will, Your vessel to use however You deem best. My heart and my life are Yours – have been for a long time. The pathway that You have had me walk down, as You have continued to change me into Your likeness, has not always been easy. But, it is the one You designed for me because You know me, and You know what it was going to take to change me into Your likeness. And I am so thankful for the change You have done in me all these years. I am more excited about what I will be when You are finished changing me. I am going to have a new name. You make all things new. One day when Christ returns, all will be set right – a new heaven and a new earth. Great joy will resound in that day! All things will be made new!

Good morning, My child!

You are My joy and My delight! I love when you come and sit a while with Me. It is in My Presence that you gain strength for your journey. You are strong when you let Me lift you up and infuse you with My essence. I raise you up and lead you and change you into more than you can be in your own efforts. I do make all things new, and I am making you new every day, restoring and healing that which has been broken, bringing newness within you. One day when your life’s journey is done, I will complete the good work that I have begun in you, and you will be in My complete likeness. You will see My face and have the new name that I have prepared just for you. You will be completely changed into your glorified state. I long for that day as much as you do, My child. Continue to practice the art of waiting on Me. I make all things new in My time.
