Good morning, Papa God!
It seems that every morning I find myself in the same position – sitting for a long period of time in Your Presence, trying to quiet my spirit and soul and being still so that I can hear You when You speak. The “being still” is still very hard for me to do. I keep practicing that skill set. You know my frame, and You remember that I am but dust… so very human… so very unable to do “life” on my own, the way You want me to do it. And so, You have given me the Holy Spirit to indwell me, to help me, and to guide me into all truth – Your truth which is absolute. He is my teacher and brings the truth of Your Word into my heart. You, my God, are full of compassion and grace and mercy! So very patient with me as I grow in the truth and knowledge of Christ. You search me, Papa God, and know my heart. You know me – all of me – the good, the bad, and the ugly! All my heart’s desire is before You, and my tears and sighing are not hidden from You. You know me – all of me! When I am overwhelmed, You are my comfort. You know where I am. You know my path and where I am going, what I will do and when. You know my past, my present, and my future. You look deep within my heart, and so I am still practicing being still in Your Presence, my God. Speak … for Your servant is listening.
Good morning, My child!
I am the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort! I comfort you in all of your life’s tribulations and trials. The comfort that you receive from Me is the comfort I want you to give to others who are struggling and sinking under the load of life’s challenges. You have walked through much in your life. Now go and be My arms wrapped around others and My words of comfort to them. That which you have received – all My love and comfort and mercy and grace and forgiveness – I am asking you to give it away to others in need of Me. And, when you are weak and weary and worn out, remember these words from Me, My child: “I love you. I am with you always. Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in My work, knowing that your labor when done in My name and My will, is not in vain.”
