Poor & Needy!

Good morning, Papa God!

My thoughts are toward You. I am still before You with all of me laid down at Your feet. I know that I am “poor and needy” spiritually. Yet, You think upon me constantly. Your thoughts are always toward me. How precious are those thoughts! How great is the sum of them! Every morning when I awake, I am still with You. Our bond as Father/child can never be broken. Nothing can ever separate me from Your love for me. Having nothing to give You but my heart and my life in worship and adoration for Who You are and all that You have done for me. Having nothing of worth to give You, and yet I possess all the unsearchable riches of Christ. I know this, Papa God, I would rather have Jesus than all the riches, prestige, and power this world has to offer. For what profit is it to any of us if we gain the whole world, but lose our souls in the process? Or what will a person give in exchange for his or her soul?  There is nothing that I need or want beside Jesus Christ as my Lord and You as my Father and the Holy Spirit living within me. I count all the world has to offer as loss for the sake of knowing Christ Jesus. Yes, my soul is always needy – for You! I will always hunger and thirst for You and Your righteous ways. My cup is always overflowing because You fill it up with Yourself. How blessed am I!

Good morning, My child!

I am your Father and I delight so very much in you, and I delight in giving to you! Open your mouth wide, My child, and I will fill it! But… I will not always give you everything you ask for because I also know what will be best for you and what will not. Often times, child, My “no” answers are to protect you from yourself. Remember that the things of this world will never satisfy you completely. Oh, they may satisfy for a moment in time, but the things of this world will lose their ability to satisfy very quickly. I alone will satisfy your soul’s longings and yearnings completely and forever. I love to fill your cup to overflowing because the overflow pours out onto others. Continue to set your mind on Me and the things that are above. Do not be conformed to this world and its lusts and attractions. Be transformed by renewing your mind on the things that are of Me. You are My delight and I sing over you with My song of Love.
