Good morning, Papa God!
Just relaxing my mind with all its mental gymnastics this morning, and setting my mind on You. In the midst of life’s circumstances, You ask me to run with endurance the race set before me, to run with staying power, to never quit my race. My thoughts go to the race that Jesus endured for my sake. I was on His mind when He ran His race, me and everyone else. We were the joy set before Him. He set His eyes on You in the garden of Gethsemane. Despising the shame and intense pain, He endured the Cross for me – His prize! Believers are His “gold medal” for completing His race. Can I then do any less than run my race with endurance, Papa God? No matter how hard the race gets with life’s circumstances, I have yet to be asked to shed my blood for the sake of the others. No matter what life brings my way, I have staying power because Christ lives in me. Thank You, Papa God, for sending Your only Son to die for me. How great is Your love that I can be called Your child. I am beyond blessed! Teach me with each new day to live above my circumstances, and to dwell in Your Presence.
Good morning, My child!
Yes, you are My child – deeply loved! I have loved you with an everlasting love; and with lovingkindness I have drawn you to Myself. I have seen you and your life since the beginning of time; and I have written down all your days before you ever took your first breath. I have redeemed you and called you by name. You are Mine so do not fear your circumstances. You will pass through them because I am with you. When your strength fails you and because of weariness you cannot stand or walk through them, then I will carry you until you can stand again. My strength within you is all you need to run your race with endurance. Oh, and by the way, this is not a competition with My other children. I did not ask you to run to achieve first place. There is no first place. I just asked you to run with endurance and finish your race. Be faithful in the running was all I have asked you to do. Perseverance leads to your spiritual growth and maturity. Just keep running! I am the Author of your story; and your story’s race is not done. I am refining you in the trenches of life. Rejoice with Me for the person I am polishing you to become.
