Be Resolute!

Good morning, Papa God! 

The word “resolute” has caught my attention and my thoughts seem to dwell there. So, I am “investigating” this word, and its implications for my walk with You. To be resolute, by definition, means to make “a firm decision to do something; a course of action determined or decided on; tenacity; boldness, steadfastness, immovable.” Hmmm … and how does one accomplish a resolute walk with You? It is to believe in You and Your power that lives within me. There is nothing impossible for You to do and all will be done according to Your will. When I am actively believing and standing on my faith in You, I am resolute, firm, steadfast, and immovable. Not because I am so very strong, but because You are. I want my faith to be habitually, constantly, consistently, unwaveringly straining forward to take hold of the goal that I see before me – You! You are greater than any circumstance of life, any upheaval, any storm, or any turmoil. To be resolute means that I make up mind to do life Your way, obeying You, to do what You ask me to do, and leave the rest for You to do. This is where my thoughts have settled this morning. Knowing how to be resolute is one thing, the doing of it consistently is the daily challenge. But, Papa God, I have come to know and understand that a victorious life in You is made up of many victorious days, lived one at a time. So, I make up my mind to walk in obedience to Your will for me – today! Strengthen my resolve and my steps as I live my life today.

Good morning, My little one!

It is in being still, sitting quietly before Me that you learn of Me and My ways, where you know Me. Sit still and absorb My Presence. It is in this state of being that you are strengthened for each day for your journey. When you are in My Presence, trusting Me in and for everything, your heart is steadfast and resolute and established. You realize there is nothing to be afraid of because I am holding you and all the aspects of your life. My authority and power are supreme over all the universe and everything in it. I am eternal, My child. I am the Sovereign God of time – the past events, the present events, and the future events. I hold it all in My hands, including your life. Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see My glory? And you will, not only in this life on earth, but more so when you get home in heaven with Me. Believe and trust Me always, My child. Remain resolute and steadfast in your faith walk with Me. Everything about walking with Me is by faith, not by what you see with your physical eyes. The testing of your faith produces endurance, My child, and deepens your faith and your belief in Me. How very deep your faith has become since the first day you became My child. You have endured much in your life, and, through it all, I have strengthened your resolve and the steadfastness of your faith. I will continue to do so until your last breath on earth. I am your faithful and loving Papa God!
