Good morning, Papa God!
You are my joy and my delight! I lift up my head and stare into the heavens. My eyes take in all the beauty of Your creation. I choose to look past the chaos, fighting, and evil in this world, and I choose to see that which is still good. I choose to see the sun in all its brilliance, the oceans in vast blueness that are calm one minute, raging in power the next, the birds singing, the vast greenness of trees, the great expanse of the skies. I look up and I see You for You are the lifter of my head, a shield around me, and my glory. My soul sings its praises to You, my God and King, and no matter what is happening on this earth, You still reign in power and glory on Your throne working all things together for Your ultimate compelling purpose. From Your Word, I am reminded of this verse that we humans need to remember – “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord.” I count all things as loss, my Papa God, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord. In Him alone do I have reason to glory. Therefore, I sing my praise. You are great, my God, for there is none like You upon the earth. Not unto us, O Lord God, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth, because of Your grace and love for us found Christ Jesus. You long to be gracious and compassionate to everyone, pouring forth Your love on all. But, we all have a choice as to whether we want You and Your love and the salvation from our sins found only in Jesus Christ. I am thankful every day that I chose to accept Jesus and His forgiveness of my sins. Papa God, by Your Spirit, show me to whom I must share this good news of eternal life through Jesus. To Your name be the glory, now and forevermore.
Good morning, My child!
You are My joy and My delight and My glory! There is no need for words from Me in this moment, My child. Let us just enjoy each other’s company in the stillness of this hour, in the love that is ours. Rest in My Presence and in My arms.
