Good morning, Papa God!
As I read my way through the book of Daniel, there is one constant theme – confidence and faith that Daniel and his three friends (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) had in You. The confidence and trust they had in Your power to rescue them from the fiery furnace and the lion’s den. They went through their “fiery furnaces,” trusting in You. Their faith was strong “in the midst” of their trials. Papa God, give me faith as strong as these men. Help me to stand against the idols and pressures of this world, and hold fast to my faith and belief in You. I want to serve You for the rest of my days. I ask that You protect me along the way just as You have always done up to this point of my life. Help me keep my eyes above the waves of the storm, and focus my eyes of faith upon You. - My pathway is lonely,
- My prayers are seemingly unanswered,
- My pain and sorrow are crippling,
- All else around me fails and falls apart,
- My heart is touched by grief and despair,
- I find myself in a fiery furnace or a lion’s den or facing a Goliath.
My faith is in You. You are on Your throne, and You always watching over Your own. You cannot fail! You are God, and so my faith rests in You – now and forever. You are the Solid Rock upon which I stand. My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. He alone is my Lord and Savior. You, my Papa God, have taught me to wait on You, to trust Your Word, and to be patient as You work out Your will in my life.
Good morning, My child!
Your faith is strong and grows each day of your walk with Me. When you walked through each of those things you mentioned and persevered, your faith grew stronger. As you know, I am in your midst always as you walk through each of life’s events and circumstances. You have felt My Presence during each event and step that you have taken in life. When you have been weak and weary, you have crawled up on My lap and into My everlasting arms and have rested there. I am fully aware of every step you have taken, the difficult places of your journey, and of where your steps will take. Draw close to Me and stay in Presence. Your faith in Me will always grow stronger when You do. Have faith in Me always. I am your Father and you are My child. My love for you knows no end.
