Endurance!

Good morning, Papa God! 

I have come to know and understand this about my faith walk with You. Endurance must be a characteristic of this walk. It’s not always easy to approach the troubles of life with joy. But, in Christ, I can do this because I know You, Papa God, and I know that all things in my life, whatever happens, You are in control and working it out for good. Oh, I know at the moment, it doesn’t always feel good, but I trust You, and I don’t trust my own understanding of the circumstances. One of the best things that come from trials and troubles is that I am tested, and this testing makes me stronger in my faith, builds my confidence in You, and increases my endurance for the rest of my life’s race that lies before me. Endurance is the crucial element of my faith walk. Endurance helps me stay true to my faith in You in the midst of hard times, and keeps me from giving up. Difficult times have taught me to lean on You more, and thus, develop my endurance. Continue to give me joy in the midst of the trials. I know You are here with me and working in and through the circumstances for my ultimate good. Thank You for always doing this in my life.

Good morning, My determined child!

How strong you have become! And, yes, it has been because you have been tested much in your life. With each circumstance and trouble of life that came your way, you did many things. You cried; you struggled; you often wanted to give up. But, you never did! You persevered through the trial, and you endured and trusted Me. With each time you did this, your faith grew stronger. You chose to trust Me, even when you had no understanding of the “whys” or “whens” or “whos” or “wheres” or “whats” or “hows.” You just cried your tears and trusted Me. All those obstacles had but one purpose – to deliver you from the fear and strongholds within your life. If you will remember, at each point, I asked you to let go and release something so I could set you free from it. I have used all those times to show you My power, to build your endurance, and to strengthen your faith and trust in Me. Again, I say to you, Your faith has become strong. Look at those spiritual muscles, My child! It was never about you understanding the situation; it was about you trusting Me, and that I did understand it all. I know that it’s how you are wired – to understand things and plan! But, I am teaching you to trust Me, and not your understanding of how you want it to be, or how you thought it would be, or even how you would like it to be. You are developing a stronger faith and trust in Me each day. Deep calls to deep, My child. I speak to the deepest part of your being from deepest heaven when you are still in My Presence. That’s why you are able to hear Me speak to you so directly. You have learned to be still and rest in My Presence. This last desert walk through the land of “in-the-mean time” has taught you this.
