Good morning, Papa God!
Tis’ early for us! I am up earlier than normal and ready to meet this day and all it holds. I am not sure what it holds, but this one thing I know … that the good work You began in me, You will continue to complete it until You call me home or Christ returns for His Bride, the church (those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life). You are my faithful Father who is always with me, watching over me, and changing me into the likeness of Christ by Your Spirit living within me. I have come to understand that not all change within me is easy. In fact, some of it has been very hard. But, I also understand that all the change that You are doing within me is good. You are purifying me, removing the “dross and rubble” from my life, and preparing me as I journey home to You. Each day is a new opportunity to walk closer to You, to love others like You do, to see others as You see them, and to live a life reflective of You living in me. Help me display the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control) as this branch determines within myself to stay plugged into the Vine (Jesus). For I have been crucified with Christ, and it is longer I who live but Christ lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me. So, here I am, Papa God, -- awake early, asking You for help for the day ahead and waiting before You to hear Your words to me. I don’t want to miss a minute with You. Beginning my day with You, in Your Word, soaking up Your wisdom, is a joy and a privilege. I love spending the opening moments of my day with You. I know that You always want to spend with me, and You wait for me to join You in the morning and all through my day.
Good morning, My child!
Our joy abounds! I love our time together and our talks. Thank you for being here this morning. Being in My Presence is the best thing you do all day! It is true that I will complete in you what I have started – your sanctification, your total purification. And, as you well know, I will continue to bring you back to that one point over and over again until you learn the lesson, and I never tire of doing this. Why? Because My purpose, My child (all My children), is to produce a finished product – a pure Bride for My Son, Jesus, your groom. Whatever change it may be, I will point it out with persistence until you release it and allow yourself to be changed into the likeness of Jesus in that area. Oh, yes, My child, I know there are times when you are tired of My purifying fires in your life, but they are necessary as I ensure that your reflection of Me to the world becomes brighter. Thank you for working with Me in this process, and not against Me. I want you to be a bright beacon of My love to the world around you.
