Good morning, Papa God!
I have been sitting here with my mind attached to the Scripture verse, “Walk by faith, not by sight.” One thought led to another, and here I am thinking, “What does it mean to walk by faith? This is what my head knows - “by faith” means faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. I walk as if what You have promised has already happened. I trust. True faith confesses the Lord Jesus Christ and confirms Your promises. The difference between the true believer (Christian) and the unbeliever isn’t the presence of faith because everybody lives by faith in something. The difference is in the object of that faith. The Christian lives by faith in the living God and what You have revealed in Your Word, and in Jesus Christ is the Son of God Who died for our sins, was buried, and on the third day was raised to life and is coming again. But, I also know faith with my changed heart. Truly, Papa God, it is not within myself to do this walk of faith each day. I have my faith from the beginning to the end of my salvation because of Your grace. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Good morning, My child!
To “walk by faith, not by sight” is a daily decision to trust Me, to have confidence in Me, no matter what the circumstances may dictate. I am not bound by circumstances. I am working in and through them, but I am not bound by them. The fiery furnace may be hot, and it may look like you will be burned up if thrown into it. That’s what those three Hebrew boys (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) thought too! But, even if you are thrown into it as they were, having trust and confidence in Me is the key. I will deliver you. I will rescue you. Just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego trusted and believed in Me as the Only Sovereign God as they went into the furnace, so I ask that of you. Their testimony of My greatness by going into the fire and trusting Me was what I used to speak to many of Who I AM. So will your life of faith, trust, and confidence in Me. My child, I say to you again, walk by faith, not by sight every day. Do not let the circumstances of your life cause you to be afraid or frustrated or fight within your soul. Trust and have confidence in Me. I never let go of you. I never, ever, ever leave your side. I am with you always.
