Run Your Race!

Good morning Papa God!

A new day! New wonders in You to see and know and experience! New hope for my future – whether I see it now or not! I know it to be truth! You make me brave, Lord, as I step into this new day.  The first day of the rest of my life, however, many days that may be. Help me redeem the time wisely. You are faithful to complete in me the work You began in me – to conform me into the image of Your Son. And You cause all things – all the pieces of my life – to come together for this purpose. No piece of my life is wasted, worthless, or without purpose. I may not see it or understand it at this moment in time, but I trust You to make use of all of it and to bring it all together for my good and Your glory. I am a child of God! It is who I am. Thank You, Papa God! Nothing can ever separate me from Your love, no matter what happens in this world (tribulation, distress, persecution, hunger, doing without necessities, peril, or sword). Your love will never fail me. But one thing is needed – my determined purpose to know You deeper and to love, trust, and obey You more– daily! I guess when I sum up my life’s purpose, it is that! Hence, the land of in-the-meantime that I have been in of late! This is where You have chosen for me to be for the past few years. It has been the time You have chosen to feed me, to strengthen me, to purify me, and to build me! You will answer my prayers in Your time and in Your way. You are always working on my behalf and for my good, even when life is not good.

My child,

How wonderfully you please My heart. I love you, My little one! I am with you and I am for you. When you are walking in any course of action that is in My will, nothing can keep you from achieving My purpose for you. You may encounter many obstacles as you move ahead, but don’t you be afraid or give up. I am on your side … always! Much of your frustration comes from you wanting to make things happen before I am ready to have them happen. I will show you the path you are to move forward on – but it will always be a day by day, and moment by moment. Run your race – yes! But do it - waiting on Me and My timing.
