Tomorrow!

Good morning, Papa God!

Been sitting here … thinking … contemplating … talking to You about life … yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I am fully aware and understand that yesterday is gone. What has happened (good and bad) is gone! It cannot be changed! I know this, but on some days the failures and mistakes can beat me up. Yes, Papa God, I know they are forgiven and forgotten by You. It is just not always so easy to forgive myself. I know that I really only have today. Today I can choose change … however that may look! Tomorrows are Yours! You hold them and all that will happen. Some people look at tomorrows with optimism and new adventures awaiting. Others look out at tomorrows filled with fear and dread.  And, some of us look at tomorrow with a sense of hope because You hold it all in Your hands. All that You have promised is ours in Christ. Truthfully, Papa God, all any of us have is today in which to live life to its fullest, abiding in You. Today is the tomorrow I prayed about yesterday. This day is all I really have so I choose this day Whom I will serve – You! I humble myself and the plans of my heart under Your mighty hand. I cast all my cares upon You because You care for me, and will provide for my every need … always at precisely the right time. Through the days of my life thus far, I know and understand this ... when I commit whatever I do each day to Your will and follow You, You will establish Your plan for me.

Good morning, My child!

I give you your life one day at a time. It is all you can really handle without submitting to the fears of the “what ifs.” And, once a person gets gripped by fear, all rational perspective becomes lost. You are correct, My child. My Word says that you are to leave the past behind you. Learn from it – yes! Live in it – no! Through Christ, your future and your hope is with Me. Each new day is a new beginning, a “do-over” opportunity. Take each day I give you and use it to My honor and glory … touch a life, change a life, encourage a life, pray for a life. Continue, My child, to make a difference in each new day that I give to you.
