Believe and Trust!

Good morning, Papa God!

I am sitting here thinking about the words, “I believe” and “I trust” as they apply to You. Isn’t it interesting how easily those words are said, but harder to do. Let the least little disruption come into our lives, and Your children quickly start to “panic”, “readjust plans”, ask You “why”, begin to doubt You and Your Word, or even get angry. How do I know this so well, Papa God? Because I have done all of these over the course of my life as You well know. But, through it all, no matter what happens, I believe in You! I trust in You! You are God, and precious to me. In each event of my life, especially those I do not understand what You are doing and why, I have two choices – to trust You and that You know what You are doing in and through my life OR to not trust You! I either believe that You are God and can do all things in Your great power or I don’t! It can’t be both at the same time! With that revelation in my life, my choice becomes clear to me … to trust and believe in You, no matter what comes at me in life. With this choice, my soul has become much more at peace, even when the chaos of life is surrounding me. You are God, and You will fight my battles and subdue my enemy if I will but stand still and trust in Your power to do so. You have given me the victory in this life through Your Son, Jesus.

Good morning, My child!

I know your heart. I see the depths of your soul, your being. I know your deep love for Me, your deep trust in Me. But, without faith, it is impossible to please Me because those who come to Me must first believe the truth of Who I AM before I can work in that life. Faith in Me! Faith in the path for salvation from sin in My Son only! Yes, faith is imperative as you well know, and confession of that faith and belief in Jesus. It is upon that confession that the right to be My child is given. You made this choice! And you are My child, now and forever! Yes, My child, life is a classroom of learning to follow Me and to trust Me, no matter what the circumstances may be.  You have also learned to do this well. Of course, there have been times when you have not fully trusted Me to take care of you in the situations that you found yourself. But, you have always quickly recovered, confessed the failure, and thus, our fellowship was restored. Continue your journey of life with complete belief and trust in Me. I will bring you all the way home! You have My Word on it!
