Stretched To Fly!

Good morning, Papa God!

To know that You have a purpose and a plan for my life gives me hope.  Show me Your plan for my life, especially now in the midst of uncertainty.  Let me lay still in Your hands as You change me into Your likeness and what You have designed me to be.  My answer to You must always be ‘Yes.’  For to say ‘no’ or ‘wait’ denies that You are Lord of my life.  Keep my heart humble, my knees bent, and my life yielded. Just as an arrow is placed in a bow, stretched taut for a purpose, aimed at a target, so stretch and aim me at Your target, Your purpose. You will let me ‘fly’ when the timing is right. I wait for You. I know not the how. I cannot understand the why. But I know You. I know and trust Your unfailing love. I know You are forever faithful, and that is enough for me. You are faithful to provide for me in all that You have called me to do. I lay in the ‘bow’ of Your will. Send me, as Your arrow, to pursue Your purpose. Papa God, stretch me, use me, and set me on Your course of flight in Your perfect timing.  I wait for You.

Good Morning, My child!

I have loved you always. Before you were born I knew you. I crafted and created you. You are special. There is only one like you. I knew what your first words would be. I know what your last words will be. I knew every difficulty you would face. I suffered each one with you. I have always had a plan for your life. The plan has not changed.  No matter what has happened or what you have done, these are but ‘lessons’ for you to learn. Lessons used to change your likeness into Mine. I have known all things and events concerning you before I formed you -- every hurt, every disappointment, every struggle. I have allowed it in your life for a purpose – for an eternal purpose. Will you let Me use it for that purpose? Your truth regarding your circumstances is incomplete. You must view it against the backdrop of My truth. Your story will remain unfinished, an incomplete song, until you let Me do My part with your hurts, your disillusions, your disappointments and struggles. I will perfect that which concerns you.
