Good morning, Papa God!
I am sad this morning, and disappointed in myself. Oh, how I wish I didn’t sin anymore. Yes, Papa God, I know the payment of the debt for that sin has already been paid. I know that when I confessed it to You that You, being faithful and just, forgave me of it and cleansed me of it. I just wish the presence of sin was no more. I know that day is coming when I will be forever freed from its presence when I am in Your Presence. But until then… I struggle with sin, some days more than others. I know the righteousness of Christ covers me, but it still saddens my heart when I sin because I know I have sinned against You, and You alone, my God. Thank You that, because I am Your child through the work of Christ on the cross, You always restore our fellowship and forgive me when I come to You and confess it to You. How truly blessed and thankful I am for Your love and Your continual restoration of me when I sin. I long for the day when I am in Your Presence and will be forever freed from the presence of sin. Yes, Papa God, sometimes my life may feel unpredictable, illogical, and even inconsistent. But You promised a steadfast path for Your children. Through Your guidance, the path that I think is wavering is actually, from Your perspective, steadfast. You have chosen my path and set my feet upon it when I chose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I know Your path for me is one of love, faithfulness, and forgiveness. I trust You even as You refine my path. Though it may be uncomfortable at times, I still trust You because You are perfect in all Your ways and You are good all the time. It is Who You are!
Good morning, My child!
You have brought to Me the sin and asked Me to forgive you. I have done so just as you have asked. Now, let go of it. I know you have had regrets in your life. Surely you know that they are forgiven just as you asked Me to do. Yes, they have been stepping stones in your life towards becoming wiser because that’s how I use mistakes and regrets. I ask you to cease letting the enemy (Satan) torture you with sins long ago forgiven and forgotten by Me. So, trust Me that I have done so and forgive yourself. Be free from your yesterdays and their mistakes. Let go of the past and live in the present, looking forward to the future I have prepared for you.
