Good morning, Papa God!
I am Your warrior. I will stand fast.
Supplied with Your armor, I will stand fast.
I do not know the meaning of retreat, or of laying down my sword at the enemy’s feet, I will stand fast.
In the face of battles and against all odds, by Your grace, I will stand fast.
In the face of worldly opinions and disapproving nods, by Your grace, I will stand fast.
In the face of the world’s arrogance and gods, by Your grace, I will stand fast.
Though Satan’s attacks remain relentless, and despite his attempts to deceive and oppress, by Your grace, I will stand fast.
Though others may retreat and acquiesce, by Your grace, I will stand fast.
I know in Whom I have believed and will one day see You face-to-face. I will stand fast.
I know You are able to keep me, and by Your grace, I will stand fast.
I will finish the race, by Your grace, standing fast.
Papa God, grant me courage to stand firm in the face of each battle. When the battle is over and the dust has settled, let me be found standing fast to my faith in You.
Papa God, help me have a soft answer, a gentle spirit, a smile that warms a life, and a touch for those in despair. Let others see You in me.
My gentle warrior,
And this you are! I do see your struggles to make a difference in a world that is so indifferent and tolerant of all kinds of sin and evil.
My gentle warrior, you are right. You are an oxymoron to the term war and battle.
You fight with mercy, gentleness and love, not with words and prattle.
You ask Me why I would give you the gift of mercy and a spirit of gentleness, and then send you out into the world like a lamb among the wolves, meekness.
Have you noticed that people respond to a soft answer, a soft look, a gentle spirit more than a confrontation or a strong rebuke?
You be all I have made you to be. Do not fear. You give to those within your reach - your smile, your warmth, your listening ear, your merciful and gentle touch. Most people are looking for just those things and cannot find such.
Remember, My gentle warrior, you are My heart, My hands and My feet. I can see so much of Me, both within and on the exterior. reflect Me to those you meet.
