Cup Overflowing!

Good morning, Papa God! 

I am once again amazed at the thoughts flowing through my mind as I sit in Your Presence. As one of Your children who is more than half way life, I have realized many things about my life as I sit here. I may not have acquired a fortune or great wealth, but I am still rich beyond all belief or understanding. I have You as my Father and I have Jesus as my friend and Savior, and that makes me rich enough. You pour your blessings out upon me, and Your mercies are new every day. My cup overflows! No matter where my life’s steps may take me, I don’t need anything else but You. I have already been blessed enough. I have You and all You have given in Jesus Christ, and all You have prepared for me beyond this life. I am certainly reaping better than I have sown, Papa God. So, as my cup continues to overflow, help me take the overflow and give it away to others who have very little, both in the physical and the spiritual needs. I can never out give You! You give the good measure – pressed down, shaken together, and running over. You press it all down to make room for more in my cup, and yet it still continues to run over. I have come to realize in my walk with You that a successful and satisfied life is found in giving. Papa God, I never want to be so busy or self-centered that I do not see the needs around me, the opportunities to give as I have been given. I want to continue to put something back into this world before I go home to be with You. Maybe, Lord, I can show someone else what I have been through on my way back to You. How many “someones” can I show You to? Show me my “someones” today, Papa God.

Oh, how you please Me, My child! And, oh how much you have learned on your journey of life. It is My pleasure to give to you and to bless you so that your cup overflows. I know you believe that you have reaped more than you have sown, but can I share with you My thoughts? You have sown much in your lifetime. You cannot see and do not perceive or understand as yet all that I have done with the seeds you have sown. You have been aware most of the opportunities that have come your way, and you have been faithful to plant the seeds of My Word and My love. I give and bestow blessings upon you because you are My child; and you choose to give away to so many that which you have been given. You can never out give Me, My wonderfully, giving child. I do open My blessings upon you in good measure – pressed down, shaken together and running over. “Why?”, you ask. To make room for more in your life. As your cup overflows, it spills into the lives of others. Continue to make the most of every opportunity you have to “preach” the gospel and fulfill your call to teach My Word. As you have seen in recent years since retirement, it has not been the normal way. I have asked you to get more creative and find new ways to fulfill your call. If you are open to new ways, My Spirit is not short on creative ideas. He will show you what to do and how to do it so you can continue sowing the seeds of My Word and My love into the hearts of those around you.
