Have Thine Own Way!

Good morning, Papa God!

I heard the words to this song this morning, and I have been dwelling on the words since.

Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way! You are the Potter; I am the clay.

Mold me and make me after Your will, while I am waiting, yielded and still!

Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way! Search me and try me, Master, today! Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now, as in Your Presence, humbly, I bow.

Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way! Hold over my being absolute sway!

Fill me with Your Spirit till all shall see, Christ only, always living in me!

It is the prayer of my heart today and every day after this. I want to walk out the truth of these words each day… have Your way in my life.

Good morning, My child,

I hear your prayer, “have Your way in my life.” This happens the most, My child, when you cease striving, cease all activity (even that which is being done in My name), and you pull away to be in My Presence for prayer and worship and fellowship. It is during this time that I “mold and make you after My will.” It is during this time that I change you from the inside out, when you are waiting, yielded and still. This time you set aside every day, giving absolute and total sway over you, is when I change you more and more into the image of Jesus. The more you are changed into His image, the more of Him others will see in you. Never forsake our time together and think other things or activities are more important. Nothing is more important than being in My Presence; and your example is Jesus. As a man, in His ministry, He withdrew often to pray and be with Me. I am all you need! Really I am! Do you think you need to run at a Mach 9 speed doing things to please Me? Not so, My child. Think back to the first days of your walk with Jesus, your early days with Me. Remember when your excitement for Jesus was contagious, when your eyes and mind were opened to understanding of My Word, when your first love was Me, not what you could do for Me. I am bringing you back to that place through this time in the desert wilderness. I am changing you and your perspective of “doing” for Me. The time we spend together every day IS the most important “doing” thing you do. Come, My child, rest in My Presence and in My love.

Papa God

I want You to always be My first love. I want to always remember the love I had for You at first and walk in that love. You really are all I need in this life.

(Mark 6:46; Rev.2:35)
