Good Morning, Papa God!
Here I am ready for the new day! What do You have planned for me today? I am asking that You help me see all the opportunities of this day and use them for Your glory. I pray that I make a difference in some one’s life today for Your kingdom’s growth, whatever it may be. I certainly don’t see what that may be from this vantage point, but You alone know where my steps will take me today. I will go in Your strength, and I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. For You alone make me righteous in Christ Jesus and You alone make me brave and victorious. My victory is in Jesus, and Him alone. You alone will I serve this day. Help me to remain in You so You can do what You need to do to keep me bearing fruit for Your name’s sake. I may not like where I am in life right now, but I was given today to live out my calling and to make a difference so I will. Regardless of where I am and what I am doing (or not doing), I am going to give You my best today! I may not be a mover or shaker in Your kingdom’s work at this time in my life, but I have been called to take on a servant-heart, working quietly behind the scenes, making life better for others with a lesson taught, or a prayer spoken, or deed done, or testimony given to another about You. So, help me obey Your Spirit’s leading today, and be obedient to whatever He asks me to do. I will gladly be Your servant today.
Good morning, My searching servant!
My ministry for you is not like your business career in which you planned, designed, organized, and executed. Oh, there may be some of that involved to be sure, but it is not the heart of ministry. The heart of ministry is servanthood, to serve - not to shine. Being My servant means serving without being thanked or recognized, and often going unnoticed. Do not concern yourself with what others say or do or whether there are any thanks from them. You do not do it to seek their honor, but Mine! So, you remain My faithful servant, doing that which I lead you to do, and leave the rest to Me. Serve others and trust Me.
