Finish Line

Good Morning, Papa God! 

Calm my racing thoughts as I come into Your Presence! I am trying to put all else in my life aside for this time with You. I am deep breathing and struggling to stop the whirlwind of thoughts and interruptions this morning. By Your mercies, Papa God, let me present my body to You for all You have done for me, as a living and holy sacrifice, the kind that You find acceptable worship. I can do no less because Jesus gave His all for me. Papa God, please guide my steps and my days! I take hold of Your hand so You can walk me through my day, fully trusting You to provide the strength and wisdom that I need. Help me to not lose sight of the finish line as I continue to run my race, the one that You gave to me to run. Give me endurance each day.

My child,

Continue to run your race with confident hope and trust, waiting for Me to do in your life all I said that I would do. I will accomplish My plan for your life. You do realize that when you continue to wait for Me to work, you give evidence to all those around you that you really do trust Me. But remember this always, My child – I want you to wait expectantly, trusting Me. But, that does not necessarily mean that I want you to just be passing the time away while you wait. Execute and do each day those things I show you to do whether it is studying My Word, creating blog entries and posting them, praying for others’ needs, or ministering to those around you who have a need. Leave the results of your ordinary “doings” to Me.
