Good Morning, Papa God!
I look out at my day ahead and I do not see much to do beyond the ordinary. Help me be okay with ordinary, but also help me not waste the time given to me today by just sitting around being inactive. Motivate me to do something productive, whether it is my walk and my exercising, or cooking and freezing, or typing entries … something! Help me to accomplish something within this day You have given me. Papa God, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his/her own steps. It is You who directs and instructs and teaches Your children in the way that we should go; You will guide Your children’s steps and You are watching us as we take steps. You show us the way when we are attentive to You and are listening for Your voice. Our responsibility is to obey Your voice when we hear it, and to not choose our own way and will. Every time I have not listened to You and chosen to do what I wanted to do, it has not ended well. Yes, Papa God, sometimes it has felt scary to step out in “blind faith” and say yes to what seems crazy that You have called me to do or to go. You have often called me to “step out of the boat and walk on water”. My mistake has always been thinking that when I say yes and step out that all will instantly be resolved. I expect that first step to land on solid ground, but it is always lands on the “water” that I am standing upon with the waves still crashing around me and the storm is still raging. I have come to realize that water will never be solid ground! But, I have also learned that if I keep my focus upon You, I will never go under even if it looks like I will. I won’t! Because You have a firm grasp of my hand.
Good morning, My child!
Your growth and your learning has been great in these recent years of preparation and purifying. You have also learned to persevere spiritually. You have learned that perseverance is more than endurance. Endurance is hanging on; perseverance is much more as you have learned. It is knowing and walking out your days with full assurance and certainty that I AM who I say I am and I will do what I say I will do. Because I said it, it will happen; I will not be defeated, no matter what the world looks like or by the circumstances that you see. You have learned this and have spiritually persevered during this “waiting in the land of in the meantime”. Of all the stresses of life, the greatest one for you, and for most of My children, is the waiting for Me and My perfect timing. That is why when I say to you, “Be still and know that I am God,” you often find it very difficult to do this. But it takes practice, and you have been practicing the art of “being still and knowing Me.” Trust Me, My child, I got this! Truly I do! Continue to persevere spiritually.
