Good Morning, Papa God!
Sometimes, like this morning, I just sit here at a loss for words, feeling overwhelmed … by what I am not sure! I am thankful that You know me better than I know me. You know what I need in this moment when I do not. I need You, my God, every second of every hour of every day. I will be completely satisfied within when I awaken in Your Presence face-to-face. Until then, I will continue to press into You, dwell and abide in You, and let Your Presence overwhelm me. I do not need anything this world has to offer. I know I have to be in the world and live here, but I am daily choosing not to be a part of this world’s entrapments. Yes, Papa God, there are a lot of times in my life when my purpose for that day eludes me, and I find myself on a path that seems to go nowhere, a path obscured from my view. But this one thing I know! You do know the way that I should take! Each day! So, I trust You!
My child,
I see you, and I hear you. I know your heart. As goes your days, so shall your strength be. Do not worry about your tomorrow. I have them in My hands. I know what you need each day, and My grace is sufficient for you each day. You are an overcomer because I overcame the world, and I am living within you through My Spirit. When My wind blows across your life, the spices and sweet aroma of Christ flows out. Continue your learning by obedience to My will. I know your post retirement years have been a huge struggle for you, but you have obediently let go of so many things that were harming you. I needed you to release them, not just personal relationships, but also your need to always be busy “doing” something, your impatience for answers and results, your inability to be still before Me and wait. You have let Me have control of the timing of My events in your life. My child, I am proud of how far you have come. I know this part of your journey has not been easy, but you have surrendered yourself each day, no matter how hard it was and trusted Me. At all your crossroads, you have chosen to travel the godly way, and not your own way. I know how hard that was for you – to crucify yourself to the world. Your obedience has ultimately brought My peace to your soul. You are determined within your heart to not want your way, but Mine, even when you do not fully understand what that way is. Yet, you walk by faith, trusting Me to show you when the time is right. I love you, My child! Never doubt that I am working in your life though you cannot see or understand at the moment.
