Good Morning, Papa God!
But one thing is needed in my life today, every day … to sit at Your feet and hear Your words spoken to me, to dwell in Your Presence and inquire of You. So early each morning I will seek Your Presence and dwell in You. My soul longs for You – Your touch, Your wisdom, Your direction and guidance, as I begin this day. You are the Bread of Life; Your Word is my nourishment. Feed me today and satisfy the longings of my soul. Fill my being with just You until I want no more of anything else this world has to offer. Nothing it offers satisfies my soul. It just causes me to want more and never satisfies completely. But You do satisfy, my God; You do! I am fully convinced and persuaded and confident that You are able to do whatever You have promised to do. You are able to do far beyond whatever I ask of You or think or imagine. I can’t even begin to think the thoughts You are thinking, or even imagine the ways in which You will perform Your will. You hear me when I pray. Even If I cannot hear Your response or see You working in my life, I know You are. My faith still stands! You are working always, by Your Spirit living within me in the deep recesses of my being. I cannot reach the depths that You reach deep within me. There are ways and motives I cannot discover on my own; dreams I cannot realize on my own. Oh, my God, search me to the depths of my being and continue Your good work in me.
My child,
I will always accomplish My desires and plans in you. I will continue to complete the good work that I started in you until you are with Me, face-to-face, in heaven. Your home is awaiting your arrival. I can’t wait for you to get home but, for yet a while longer, you have work to do. The door will open. Have I not said it? And so it will be! Continue to stand in faith, to persevere in the presence of headwinds. Your tenacity is one of those beautiful traits in your life that I love to watch you exercise. Continue to go forward. I will “part your Red Sea” so you may walk through it on day ground. I am the same, yesterday, today, and forever.
