Sitting on the Shelf

Good morning, Papa God! 

You are in my midst, with me in all I do and wherever I go. I have no fear of what the future holds because You hold my future. I will not be dismayed or disconcerted by what I see. You will strengthen me, and help me, and uphold me. I know You rejoice over me with great delight. You sing Your love song over me, and You quiet my soul with Your love. In You, I watch … I stand fast in the faith … I am brave and I am strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. I know I stand at the crossroads and I look for where the good way is so I can walk in it. Papa God, so often like now, the path seems to be covered with a heavy mist, making the path hard to find. But, Your Word is Truth, and You are the way. So, my focus is on You. You will reveal the way in which I am to go in Your perfect timing. Until then, I will keep doing what I know to do each day until You tell me to do something else, even if what I am doing appears to be “sitting on the shelf.”  If this is where You have placed me for a while, then here is where I will be…waiting on You. Papa God, I am in need of Your touch today -- a touch of healing of my soul, my heart, and my spirit.

Good morning, My sweet child,

I love your determination as you continue each day in your faith walk. I am with you in each step you take. You know Me, My child. Have I ever failed to show you the way or give you wisdom when you have asked? You know I have never failed you. Yes, it has not always been at the precise moment you asked, but My answer has always been given to you at just the right time. So, do not doubt at this crossroads, at this “sitting on the shelf” period of time. You will have My answer in My perfect timing for your life. Be encouraged, little one! I AM with you always, just as I promised you I would be. Allow Me time to water the seeds that I have planted within you. The harvest from your life will happen. You only see part of what’s happening. I see it all. Walk with Me daily, trusting Me even when the path is unclear. I see where I am leading you. I am taking care of you. Every detail of your life is under My control, so cast all your cares upon Me. If you could see what I see regarding you and how much I am working on your behalf, you would never doubt how much I care for you. I got this, My child! Just trust Me with ALL your life.
