Good morning, Papa God!
Today has arrived – the tomorrow I prayed about yesterday. Here it is, ready to be enacted in my life. Help me to embrace all this day has for me, to live it to its fullest, being Your light to those I encounter today. I pray that I can make a difference for You where You place me today. Prepare my heart to worship and serve You today. I desire Your truth and wisdom in my innermost being. Create a clean heart within me, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I sit here at Your feet, Papa God, and I remain amazed! Amazed by Your love and grace and mercy in my life, saving me and granting me the privilege to be Your child, having access to You at all times. I recognize that I did nothing to deserve this position as Your child. I was dead in my sins, but through Jesus, I now have eternal life. Yes, I stand amazed! You are rich in mercy, freely giving Your love and mercy and grace to all who would come to You through Jesus Christ and His work on the Cross. Thank You, Papa God, for everything that You have so freely given to me. I give You my deep gratitude and praise for Who You are and all You have done for me, and all who believe in Jesus.
Good morning, My child,
I see you all wrapped up in My love and My glory. You are such a beautiful sight! I know and have seen your struggles during this long stretch of sitting in the “land of in the meantime.” You are growing and learning in this quiet season, learning to trust Me above all that you see in your circumstances. Oh, how you have grown! This has been a feeding time, a preparing time, and a building time. My child, when words have been needed I have spoken them to you. I know that you have wanted more answers; and yes, I could have given you more information. But would your trust and faith in Me have grown if I had? I think we both know the answer to that question. It is in these times of silence that your focus is entirely upon Me. You have learned to trust that My ways and My thoughts are higher than yours. My plans for you are so much more than you can see and know, and far beyond what you can plan or think or imagine. You have been in training, preparing for My next assignment. Oh, by the way, you are ready. Have you had a good look at your spiritual muscles lately? Guess what? I have! You have let go of the one weight that has so easily entangled you and slowed you down. How you have grown stronger in your ability to deny its influence in your life! I am proud of you! I know how hard this has been for you, and how diligent you have been to let it go. You have stood with your armor on against the devil, and resisted him through My power resting within you.
