Good morning, Papa God!
I sit here reading Your Word, and Your grace and peace have fallen on me. Jesus, full of grace and truth and the glory of the Father, You have given to me that glory (within me), the knowledge of the glory of the Father. So, Papa God, when I say, “show me Your glory”, You say to me, “look in the face of My Son.” And so, my Father, I do! Oh, not in person … yet, but as Your Word reveals Him to me. It is my determined purpose that I may know Him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person more strongly and more clearly. It is my life’s goal until I see Jesus face-to-face, and You, my Papa God. Give me Your sufficient supply of grace and strength for this day’s journey. I know and understand that You have consecrated me, dedicated me, as Your child to Your service. That’s my part – Your servant. Your part is sanctifying me; setting me apart from sin and making me holy to be Your servant. My part is being deliberately determined to be interested in only what You are interested. WWJD – “What Would Jesus Do?” Keep me with a focused determination to do this today. It is my prayer for each day, but all I have right now is today. Papa God, continually transform me into the likeness of the Son!
My faithful servant,
HA! I hear your response to that greeting. I know you do not yet see yourself that way – as a faithful servant – but I see you that way. You are centering your entire being on Me, becoming like My Son. You know I created you in My image. It is part of your spiritual DNA to be like Me. It is how I created you to live. I have so enjoyed watching your transformation occur. You have slowly over time laid aside the weight and burdens that have hindered our relationship, and the sins that so easily entangled you. You have released control of your life to Me, and you have been running your race with perseverance and endurance. So yes, My child, you are My faithful servant, even in these days of change and new beginnings. And yes, I still see your struggle of letting go of some sin areas in your life. Remember, little one, the penalty and power of sin in your life has been defeated at the Cross by the death of My Son, but the presence of sin still remains until His return, or I bring you home. So, continue to fight the good fight, and faithfully serve Me in whatever I call you to do, whether big or small (your perspective, not Mine)!
