Good morning, Papa God!
All is quiet! All is calm! My heart is still before You, and I tune my heart to hear Your precious whispers of love and encouragement. I find myself contemplating the question You asked Elijah so long ago – “What are you doing here, Elijah?” But, for me, I always seem to be asking You that question – “What am I doing here”? It was the same type of questioning Elijah had been doing. Because of the circumstances in his life as a result of following what he knew You wanted him to do, he was trying to figure out what was happening. Your response to him was “what are you doing here,” “Get up and go…”. You gave him specific assignments, some of which made little sense to him at the time. But, just as You knew what You would in his life from his obedience to You, so You also know this with my life. You know the way that I take; You have searched me and known me and all my activities since before I drew my first breath. You will ever be with me, no matter where I go and what is happening in my life. No matter where I am, You are there, holding on to me and protecting me. Help me in this season of life to not lose heart and grow weary. My God and Father, I know Your way for me is best, and I thank You for being a good, good Father, always loving me as You do. I will continue to trust You to show me the way each day. Please help me keep the direction of my focus upon You, and not necessarily on just what my eyes can see or my mind can understand. You are so far above that! I cannot possibly see or hear or understand all that You have in store for me, prepared for me, and have waiting for me. I am trusting You for each step that I take.
Good morning, My child!
In all your ways and in all you say and in all you do, trust and acknowledge Me. I am with you! I am for you! I am in you! As you have over the years heard My words spoken to your heart and watched Me perform acts of deliverance on your behalf, and provided you with My wisdom at all your crossroads and more, you now know beyond all doubt that My power and presence rests upon you. The mind of Christ saturates your mind. You have been diligent to study My word, and to teach it to others as I have directed you. So, what makes you think it will be any different this time? You, My lovely child, are saturated with Me. Just as I have always led you and opened doors, so I will continue to do so. Go and you will know! Just start taking some steps … yes, just like you have been doing these past few years. Slow and steady steps forward into what I have for you. Each day will have its own seemingly small tasks. Even though they are small, do them anyway! Your small is My big! I know from your perspective it appears as if nothing is happening or changing, but it is! I promise! Elijah thought the same thing! Be thankful always even in your most difficult days. Your place and your circumstances may appear to be at a stagnant standstill, but with a thankful heart in all your circumstances, you are able to hear My voice better and your mind is more open to My thoughts. Rest here quietly in My Presence with thanksgiving in your heart. You are, indeed, My precious and lovely daughter. Oh, how I love you!
