Good morning, Papa God!
I cannot be anything but thankful when my thoughts are on You. If I were to try and count all my blessings, not only would I run out of numbers, but I cannot even remember and name all of them, especially as I go from the biggest ones to the very minute ones. Papa God, there are, oh so many, smaller ones that, in many ways, far outshine the bigger ones. Each breath I have on any given day is a blessing. Teach me to give back to others from all that has been given to me by Your bountiful hands. Every good thing given and every perfect gift comes from You. Everything I have in my life that is good, that brings joy, that gives life, is from You. Even that which I would declare “not good”, You bring good from it. How blessed am I! You have taught me to focus on what I do have, and not on what I don’t have. Focusing on how I have been blessed keeps me in a peaceful and contented place. You are my Provider!
Good morning, My child,
Your thankful heart pleases Me. It is My joy to pour out My blessings upon you. A grateful heart sees the very small blessings as well as the big ones, like the one you saw this morning in the early morning sky – white cirrus cloud with a fringe of pink and blue around it. You have learned to do that and that pleases Me. Many of My children go through life without even seeing how I bless them, missing them in their busyness. Learning this has been for your sake, not Mine! Learning this has brought you to a place of peace and contentment in life, not one of always wanting something more. Trusting Me without boundaries, depending on only Me, has shown you just how reliable I AM! I AM the safest place for you. When you are thankful in everything, your heart is at peace. Oh, I know it is difficult at times to always be thankful, especially during the hard times of life. But, you are learning that when you say, “Your way, my God, is best, and I thank You; and I submit my ways and thoughts to Yours”, you find I AM there for you. I AM always with you. I rescue. I provide. I bless.
