It’s All About You and Only You!!

Good morning, Papa God! 

I sit here this morning with so many thoughts racing through my mind. I am trying to settle the churning and focus my attention on You. It’s not about my plans, my dreams, my “anything.” It’s just not about me at all! It’s all about You, and only You. I tend to forget that on some days when I am trying to figure out my life’s next steps. Why do I try to figure out something that You already know? Why do I try to do that? All that I do not know about my next steps, You do know! When I shift my focus to me and try to “plan and solve,” I take my eyes off of You and I do not trust You to do all You say You will do in my life. So, I am turning my eyes back to You, and putting my trust in Your plan for me. Remind me over and over again with each day past and with each day that lies ahead, it’s all about You. Papa God, I have asked and continue to ask that You fill me with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. You know my struggles, my thoughts, my desires and plans. You see all of me. You know my frame and You remember that I am but dust … frail!  But I know that Your joy, deep within me, is my strength. And so, I turn my eyes upon You, and look deep and full into Your face. I do this in my spirit until the day I am with You in heaven. My life and everything in it is all about You. Papa God, I want to be willing to go wherever You lead me, even if is to places I’ve never been like this one – “the land of in the meantime” where there is nothing for me to do. You are my God and it is all about You. My heart is fully Yours.

My child,

Even since you began sitting in My Presence this morning, your thoughts have ceased to race. Tis the way it is when you cease striving and come into My Presence, and lay before Me all of your struggles and strivings. I know it seems like a senseless waste of time to wait quietly in My Presence, especially for such an “active doer” as yourself. Do not listen to our enemy as he tells you that this is a waste of time. Nothing could be further from the truth! When you are in My Presence, I renew; I strengthen; I restore; I prepare … all things Satan is afraid of from My children. Thus, he bombards your mind to distract and dissuade you from your focus. Your time with Me is never wasted time just like nothing you do is ever wasted in My economy. So, My child, you think that where I have led you – the land of in the meantime – is producing nothing from you. You couldn’t be more wrong, My child. I produce so much in you and from you. Just because you do not see it, does not make it so. Look beyond what you see and look with your eyes of faith and believe in what you do not see. Fix your gaze and your mind firmly upon Me. My child, instead of trying to figure everything out and making your mind spin out of control, come in to My Presence and rest, cease striving, and trust Me. I know everything about you. You will be in perfect peace when you lean on and trust Me for all your life’s outcomes.
