Sacred Service

Good morning, Papa God! 

I realize, as I sit in Your Presence absorbing Your essence, that Your calling on my life is a sacred service. It is not just about me saying the right words to others about Who Jesus is and His saving power, but it is also the living in harmony with You and in Your will that gives power and meaning to my words. I become an attractive magnet for Jesus when the words and the actions of my life align with Your love and power and glory. My every word, my every deed, my every thought must, of necessity, be enveloped in Your will and Your power, so making me an instrument of Your righteousness in the lives of others. My life is a sacred service of making Jesus known by any and all means that You choose to use, be it significant or insignificant from my perspective. All of my life, when surrendered to Your use, is significant. I am in deep thought regarding my words used, my deeds done, and my thoughts thought. Do I radiate Your love and grace to them and impact others for good? How effective have my words and actions been in drawing others to Jesus? Do I view my life as a significant, sacred service to You? How many of my thoughts each day are about You or how many are about my daily needs and plans? I know those thoughts that I have about my daily needs and plans are important to live life, but You are most important! You give life to both those who know You, and also to those whose lives are still burdened by their sin and have not been freed by the gospel of Jesus – His death, burial, and Resurrection. This is the sacred service that You have given me to do with each day of my life. You have planted me like a strong and graceful oak for Your glory. Let my life, with every word, deed, and thought reflect Your glory.

My child,

I have called you by name. You are Mine. I have a plan for your life, and for the lives of all My children. No life is insignificant when it is surrendered for My use. Do not despise small beginnings. I rejoice to see the work of your life being fulfilled. You are My workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for the good works which I prepared beforehand for you to walk in them and accomplish all I have for you to do. I begin great works within you with the small things. Your life’s journey begins and continues with one step at a time. You are correct when you said to Me that your life is a sacred service. I have called you. Every kind word or deed that encourages and shows love and kindness can make a huge difference in someone’s life, now and even years later. Yes, you have been called to make a difference each day in the lives of others. Let your light so shine that others may see your good works and glorify Me. I know you think that your life is small and insignificant, but I know otherwise. You serve Me as I lead you, and leave all the results of your life to Me.
