Good morning, Papa God!
As I prepare to go into this day, I am asking You to set a guard over my mouth and keep watch at the door of my lips. I do not want any unwholesome word coming out, but only that which builds others up and edifies those who are listening. My day was to be filled with students because I was to sub-teach today, but now I will not be doing that. My day is still before me with many opportunities as yet unseen. I know not how my day will go or all that I will say or do, but I know You have prepared this day for me. So, I am asking You to go before me as I step out into this day. Let me reflect You to others around me as I go, and demonstrate love and kindness to others just as You would do. Open my eyes to see the opportunities to serve others that are all around me – calling a friend, praying for others, sending a cheering up card or text. Whatever it may be, Lord, let me not only see it, but do it. Help me to bless others by the giving of my time to meet needs. All I have I received from You. Help me to freely give what I have been so freely given.
Good morning, My child!
I have indeed prepared this day for you, and yes, opportunities to serve do indeed abound. I will show you to whom I want you to serve and meet needs today. Giving of yourself to others results in joy. Yes, joy and giving go hand-in-hand. Contact friends and let them know that you are thinking of them. Lift their spirits and encourage them in their walk. Many are struggling with life’s burdens right now and could use your encouragement. Be My prayer warrior and offer up prayers on their behalf. Run your errands and show kindness to others. Show off your smile and make others feel good for a few moments in their hectic day. There are many opportunities to serve today. I will show them all to you. Your yielded heart will always have My power and love flowing from it into the lives of others. In everything give thanks, even during your hard times. This shows to Me a yielded heart. I can always use a yielded, servant’s heart in the world. Be Mine servant today.
