Good morning, Papa God!
Here I sit, wondering what I will do today, where I will go, who I will see or talk to, who I will impact for the kingdom of heaven. Hmmmm! From my chair, the answer is nothing to do and no one to see. A very ordinary, non-busy, low impact day! I don’t know … maybe that’s a good thing. But for me – the achiever, the doer – it is a hard thing to do, to be inactive. Oh, I know – there are activities to do in my life, but they are spread out over the entire week. Most days are like this one – little to do that has any eternal impact, as it has been since retiring. So, here I sit in contemplation, wondering “what next?” … “what do I do?” … what purpose does this day have?”
My precious child!
Listen to Me carefully! You are chosen; you are royal; you are holy and set apart for the work to which I have called you; you are special – My special child! You have been called for the purpose of proclaiming the praises of Jesus who Himself called you out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. You have been given very special gifts and talents. Minister to others with them just as you have been doing all these years. I hear you with all your questions, and I know and feel all your frustrations in this current stage of your life. My child, embrace and accept this new stage of life. Yes, it will be different than all the others. But different is just different, not worse or better. There is much change happening within you. Embrace the changes. Do not wish for what was, but try and see your life as better than before because of the changes. You cannot live in the past with the “what was”. It will only bring regret and sorrow. You cannot live with your mind in the future of “what will be”. You are not there yet; the only One there is Me. Living there will only cause doubt and fear to creep into your heart. You can only live in the present – today! It is how I designed you to live – in the present, one day at a time. Embrace today and do all you know to do and say – today! Do not worry about tomorrow. You will have plenty to do and say when tomorrow gets here.
