Good morning, Papa God!
I have been sitting here reflecting on just two verses (Psa.63:1-2), and I just realized something. No matter how much of You I absorb within my being, I always want more of You. You made me to be like a dry sponge, constantly wanting to soak in more of You. Oh, I know that I have all of You living within me since my rebirth, but my soul thirsts for You constantly. You have placed this deep longing for You within me so that I would always be drawn into Your Presence. It was even true before I became Your child through accepting Jesus into my life. I had a void within myself that only You could fill, even though I tried to fill it with many things. But now, after walking with You all these years, I have realized that I want and desire You more and more each day. I wake up and I can hardly wait to be in Your Presence, to “see” Your Power and Glory, to feel Your love and grace and mercy poured into me. You are the beginning of my day. You are the end of my day, and all that’s in between. Thank You for this daily longing within me to be in Your Presence; and thank You that I have access to Your throne of grace because I am Your child.
Good morning, My child!
I am glad that you stopped on those verses as you read My Word. Reflection was needed! I wanted you to mentally be aware of what your soul already knew. In My Presence, you will find all you will ever need as you journey through life. In My Presence, you find an endless supply of love, joy, peace, strength, wisdom, and discernment for each new day’s journey. In essence, you find Me and My attributes. In My Presence, your spiritual “tank” is filled up for another day. And, oh how I love our time together in the early morning hours when all is quiet, and your soul is at rest in Me. You are right! I did create you to know Me, to be in fellowship with Me. That was My primary purpose in creating humans. So, come, My thirsty sponge, and drink My living water that quenches all thirsty souls. We are quite the pair, are we not? I am God, above all other gods, worshipped and adored by you; and you are My child whom I love with an everlasting love! Together we walk hand in hand through life. It is awesome, is it not? I think it is, and I know you do!
